Terms and Conditions
Booking
£100 damages / booking deposit will secure your dates. On receipt of this an email will be sent informing you that the dates have been booked. This deposit is refundable in full one week after your stay providing there are no major breakages. Refunds will be made via electronic transfer or by cheque if preferred.
Four weeks before arrival, an email will be sent requesting full payment. Payment is by electronic transfer or cheque. If paying by cheque please allow time for clearance.
You must be over 18 at the time of booking.
Cancellation
If you cancel before the balance is due (four weeks before arrival), we will retain the £100 booking deposit.
If you cancel less than four weeks before arrival, we will retain 75% of the holiday cost plus the £100 booking fee.
In exceptional circumstances, we may refund the full cost of your holiday apart from the £100 booking fee. These are:
- Severe illness (we will ask for a certified medical certificate)
- Death within the booking party
- You are placed in quarantine
Please note that all of the above reasons must have arisen after you made your booking and must not have been within your knowledge at the time of your booking. This particularly applies to pre-existing illness.
At our discretion you may also receive a full refund if you cannot reach The Apple Press due to snow or flood conditions or as a result of being involved in an accident while on the way there.
We recommend you have adequate holiday insurance in place.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional rate of £25 each per week or part thereof. Please be aware that outside the courtyard there are no barriers to the road. Dogs must not be left unattended in either The Apple Press Barn or the garden. You are responsible for cleaning up your dog.
Assistance dogs
Are welcome free of charge at the property but must not be allowed on the furniture.
Arrival / departure
The property (unless otherwise stated) will be available for occupation from 4.00pm on the first day of the holiday and must be vacated by 10.00am on the last day.

No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to your personal property, (including pets), vehicles or vehicle contents belonging any member of your party during your occupancy.
Save in respect of any death or personal injury claim caused by our negligence, we cannot accept liability for any damage, expense or loss of any nature whatsoever suffered by any person(s) from any cause whatsoever.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to refuse any booking and to cancel any bookings already made if the property is unavailable (e.g. through fire, flood, etc) for any reason whatsoever, subject to a full refund of all monies paid. We shall be under no other liability if such cancellation occurs.
